Cleopatra lived closer to us than to the pyramids
Cleopatra died in 30 BCE. The Great Pyramid was finished about 2,500 years before that. The Moon landing was about 2,000 years after.

Khufu’s pyramid dates to roughly 2560 BCE. Cleopatra VII died in 30 BCE. The gap is about 2,530 years. From 30 BCE to 1969 CE is about 1,999 years. She is closer to Apollo 11 than to the building she is forever photographed against.
The arithmetic is the fact. Egypt’s antiquity is so deep that a late Hellenistic ruler sits nearer the telephone than the Old Kingdom.
Caveats
- Dates for the pyramid vary by decades, not by centuries. The inequality survives the argument.
